The Head, an interactive installation that was originally titled "Mind and Body Environment", was first shown in the Mandeville Gallery at the University of California at San Diego in 1993. Since then, it has made appearances in Siggraph '95 at the Los Angeles Convention Center, in the 1997 group show titled "Re:Degenerate" in Chicago, Illinois, in Jason's solo show "The Terrible Tempered Mr.Bang" in 2000 at the Butler Institute of American Art in Youngstown, Ohio, at the Powerhouse Studio in Brooklyn, New York, from 2001-2004, and recently at Tape Club, in Berlin, Germany, 2011-2012. It's thirst for global surveillance and invasive audio capturing continues.
