Amir Fattal commissioned me to build the kinetic interns of his installation, "Shadow of Smoke Rings on the Wall." Two sculptures emit L.E.D. light and piezo beeps to transmit text via morse code;“Dreams are also a way to fill up the days that man must spend on this earth. The dream is not much different than the deed, as many think. All of man’s deeds were once dreams and all of his deeds will once again be dreams.” The large semicircular ring, which seems to float in oil, is powered by 6 super-bright L.E.D.s, while the architectural model on the rocky precipice, like a lighthouse, has only one tiny source of light.
